The Three Pillars of Sustainability

The Three Pillars of Sustainability - Social Equity, Economic Viability and Environmental Protection - provide the foundation for the master plan. Working together with the Stakeholder Advisory Group (SAG) and Technical Advisory Group (TAG), the team developed six Guiding Principles which build upon the Three Pillars of Sustainability and guide the master plan project through all stages of its development.

The Hensley Field Master Plan aims to serve as a living example of how to integrate CECAP Goals with an adaptive reuse redevelopment.

The Three Planning Scenarios

 

 As a result of iterative stakeholder input, the project team developed three different scenarios to test possible outcomes and plausible futures for Hensley Field. Each scenario responds to different hypothetical assumptions and features different land uses, public infrastructure and transportation patterns.

 
 

Following feedback, market analyses, transportation analyses and detailed comparative studies, the team compiled their findings into the Scenario Evaluation Report. The conclusion of the report includes key recommendations from the analysis which will inform the final master plan.
